Let’s go south and know more about the beautiful city of Batangas!
Batangas City is accessible to other leading cities in the Southern portion of Luzon and even in Metro Manila. The South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) makes it easier and more convenient to travel to the booming and growing tourism industry of the city.
Batangas City is home to world-class natural wonders, sceneries, and many other tourist destinations. It has magnificent beaches, reposeful islands, and spectacular mountains. The city is ideal for outings and gateways with your family.
The first stop is the amazing structural design of the Monte Maria Shrine. The Statue of Mary, Mother of All Asia, stands at 322ft and is the world’s tallest statue of the Virgin Mary. It is located at Brgy. Pagkilatan, Batangas City, thirty minutes away from the city proper. Here, you will find peace and tranquility. It is a perfect place to avoid the hustle and bustle of the city.
Second is the splendid place of Verde Island or more known to locals as the lone island barangay in the city. It is an awesome adventure to visit the island as it is a paradise of marine creatures, and it’s clear blue waters are undeniably breathtaking. It is the center of the city’s marine diversity. The place is the absolute go-to for some adventure whether you are alone or with your loved ones. No busy streets and polluted air, just you, the calming sound of the waves, and the salty breeze of the island.
